The Light Trail Shorts look great as a pair of technical shorts - the contrasting grid fabric used for the waist panel and pockets provides strength and structure, while main fabric provides water repellency with some permeability for keeping everything cool. For the more serious runners, hikers, and trail runners, the central back pocket is large enough to fit an iPhone, with the side pockets able to fit keys and gels - the front pockets are just a bonus!
